PEMF
Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy - modern pain relief
Fully functioning and healthy living tissue is alive with energy created by the movement of ions. In a healthy, optimally functioning cell, the membrane maintains a balance of ions inside and outside of the cell membrane – a balance that creates a measurable charge of bio-electricity necessary for normal cell metabolism. Anything that contributes to the lowered energy state of the cell – including stress and injury – affects it’s ability to function to the fullest. Unlike direct electrical stimulation, these powerful, ultra-short electromagnetic pulses have the ability to safely pass right through living tissue, and indirectly provide bio-available energy that triggers a cascade of events at cellular level. Where there is evidence of stress, pain, inflammation, injury, swelling…Pulsed magnetic cellular exercise is the missing component.
PEMF is an outside source of energy that delivers a boost to dynamic cellular metabolism.
Widely used in mainstream health fields in other parts of the world for decades,
and a hot topic of research worldwide, pulsed magnetic cellular exercise is at last
receiving the recognition of the mainstream, having been embraced by both two-legged
and four-legged athletes in recent years.
Take a look around this website for more detailed information. If we can answer any questions about this procedure, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will be happy to answer your questions!
The machine we are using is the MG-33.
Disclaimer: High Intensity PEMF is not a medical
device in the U.S. It simply produces a pulsed magnetic field of varying strengths.
It is not intended for the treatment, diagnosis or prevention of any disease or condition

This is a short video explaining how the PEMF works. We have found similar results in our clinic, especially with extremity problems, for example: ankle, foot, shoulder and knee. We also use this in conjunction with our Decompression program to help with those horrible bad backs.
